Bell pepper Fatima

Czech Breeding for Professional Greenhouses

"Fatima" pepper from the Czech company Moravoseed is a choice for growers who prioritize stability and marketability. In the sweet pepper segment for greenhouses, this variety has long established a reputation as a reliable "workhorse" for farmers focused on obtaining high-quality conical fruits.

Agrotechnics and Productivity

A vegetation period of 110–120 days classifies this variety as mid-season. When grown in film or glass greenhouses, the plant shows predictable development, which facilitates rotation planning. The main focus here is on fruit shape and weight:

• Shape: classic conical, which enjoys steady demand in retail chains.
• Weight: 200–250 grams, which is the "gold standard" for retail, as the fruit is easy to pack and transport.
• Chambers: 3-4 distinct lobes provide density and fleshiness of the wall.

"Fatima" from Moravoseed does not try to surprise with exotic colors; its task is to provide a predictable yield of commercial peppers. Thanks to Czech breeding, the variety is adapted to temperate climate conditions and responds well to standard greenhouse practices. It is a solid solution for those seeking a balance between labor input and the quality of the final product.
