Bachata F1 sweet pepper is a mid-season hybrid developed by specialists of the Dutch company Rijk Zwaan. The plant is low-growing, compact, and evenly loaded with fruit, ensuring a stable yield. The hybrid is characterized by high resistance to mosaic virus and bronze virus, as well as the ability to form fruit well under significant temperature fluctuations, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions.

Bachata F1 fruits have a cube-like shape with four chambers, reaching up to 9 cm in length and 8-8.5 cm in diameter, with a weight of 300-350 grams. The fruit walls vary in thickness from 8 to 10 mm, giving them density and good marketability. The color of the fruits is dark green in technical maturity and a vibrant, almost orange-yellow in biological maturity, making them attractive to consumers. The pepper has excellent flavor qualities and retains high quality after transportation and long-term storage.

The Bachata F1 hybrid is suitable for cultivation both in protected environments (polyethylene greenhouses, low tunnels) and in open fields. The recommended planting density is 3 plants per square meter or 30-35 thousand plants per hectare. The main use of the fruits is for fresh salads, canning, and home cooking. The high yield of standard product throughout the growing season makes this hybrid a profitable choice for farmers and gardeners.
