Enya pepper is a medium-maturing sweet variety with a maturation period from mass emergence to technical ripeness of 120-130 days, and to biological ripeness — 145-155 days. The plant is tall, reaching 60-70 cm in height, and has a strong, spreading form. The fruits have a conical-prismatic shape, are large in size and weight — from 200 to 350 grams, with a wall thickness of 6-10 mm. At technical ripeness, the fruits are light green, and upon full ripening, they turn bright orange.

The Enya variety is distinguished by excellent taste qualities and resistance to verticillium wilt, making it a reliable choice for cultivation. The fruits are well-suited for long-distance transport and maintain their market appearance for a long time, which is especially important for commercial production. The yield of this variety is 60-70 tons per hectare, and the number of plants per hectare varies from 60,000 to 80,000 depending on planting method and irrigation.

Enya pepper is grown from seedlings, with seeds typically sown in trays. The age of seedlings is selected depending on the intended use of the product: for processing, 25-45-day-old seedlings are recommended. The planting scheme depends on the irrigation method — under sprinkler irrigation, the distance between plants is 60x25 cm, and under drip irrigation — 90+50x20 cm. The fruits of this variety are suitable for canning, freezing, processing, and consumption fresh without additional treatment.
