The plants are semi-spreading with drooping, cube-shaped fruits that have a rich emerald color when technically ripe, and turn dark red or rich chocolate hue upon full ripening. The fruits are large and heavy, ranging from 300 to 700 grams, with thick, fleshy walls 6–15 mm thick, ensuring juiciness and density. The EMERALD variety is early-maturing with a medium ripening period, allowing for harvest at optimal times. The plants are heat- and drought-resistant and exhibit high resistance to tobacco mosaic virus, making them reliable for cultivation in various climates. Yield under plastic coverings reaches 6.8–7.2 kg per square meter, confirming the variety’s effectiveness for home gardens and open ground.
