Onion 1001 F1

Industrial reliability: working with 1001 F1

When you are managing large-scale onion production for processing, consistency is everything. EsaSem’s 1001 F1 hybrid is designed precisely for that—delivering a uniform, high-quality output that minimizes waste during the processing stage. It is a workhorse that performs predictably throughout the season.

Field Performance and Yield

With a maturity period of 110–120 days, 1001 F1 is a reliable performer. With proper agricultural practices, hitting yields of 90–100 tons per hectare is standard. The round shape is a major asset for processors, as it integrates perfectly with automated peeling and slicing equipment.

Operational Advantages

• Appearance: The crisp white color of both the bulb and the outer scales ensures a clean final product, which is essential for freezing or dehydration lines.
• Handling: The bulbs are firm enough to withstand machine harvesting and bulk transport without significant bruising or damage.
• Management: While the hybrid requires steady irrigation management, it rewards the grower with high-density, high-quality bulbs that meet industry specs.

If you are looking to streamline your production cycle, 1001 F1 eliminates the usual headaches caused by mixed sizes and uneven maturity. It provides the predictability needed to keep processing lines running at full capacity, making it a sound choice for any operation focused on high-volume, high-quality processing.
