Dominator

The pepper variety DOMINATOR is medium-ripening with a long fruiting period, reaching technical maturity in 115-130 days. The plant grows up to 60-70 cm in height and is characterized by heat-, light-, and moisture-loving nature. For successful cultivation, seedling method is recommended with optimal germination temperature of 23-25 ºC and seedling age of 55-65 days. Planting in open ground is carried out after the threat of spring frosts at soil temperature not lower than +15 ºC, following planting scheme of 3-4 plants per linear meter and row spacing of 60 cm. Favorable temperature for growth and development is +21-27 ºC.

Fruits of the DOMINATOR variety have prism-shaped or conical form, glossy surface, and weight of 180-200 g. Wall thickness is 6-6.4 mm, ensuring juiciness and density of flesh. At technical maturity, fruits are light greenish, while at biological maturity — deep dark red. The pepper has a pleasant spicy aroma and excellent taste qualities, with juicy and aromatic flesh.

This variety is versatile in use: fruits are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for various forms of thermal processing. DOMINATOR successfully grows both in open ground and under cover, including plastic greenhouses, making it an attractive choice for different climatic conditions and cultivation methods.
