DARK NIGHT

The 'Dark Night' pepper variety is an early-maturing sweet type with conical fruits of medium length and medium weight of 110-120 g. Plants are semi-spreading, about 100 cm tall, forming semi-compact bushes, primarily grown by seedlings with 3-4 plants per 1 m². For optimal growth and fruit formation, cultivation on a trellis with two-stem pruning, regular watering, weeding, loosening, and fertilization is recommended.

Fruits have a dark-purple color in technical ripeness and dark-red in biological ripeness, with wall thickness of 6-7 mm. They possess a strong gloss and attractive appearance, making them popular for fresh consumption, culinary processing, and seasonal preservation for winter. The variety is characterized by high yield — up to 7 kg per square meter, with a period from mass germination to harvest of 108-120 days.
