Description
Magellan is a low-growing, compact pepper hybrid intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic coverings. The plant is determinate, reaching a height of 40-50 cm and forming up to 10 fruits simultaneously. The period from germination to technical maturity is 100-110 days, allowing for an early mid-season harvest.
The Magellan pepper fruits are cube-shaped, hanging, smooth, and glossy, with a bright red color. The wall thickness reaches 8.3 mm, and the fruit weight varies from 120 to 150 grams. The flavor qualities of fresh fruits are very high, possessing a strong aroma, making them an excellent choice for fresh consumption, pickling, and processing.
The hybrid is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus, enhancing cultivation reliability and crop quality. Magellan is suitable for various cultivation methods, ensuring stable fruiting and high decorative value of plants due to its compact habit and uniform flowering time.
