Khaski

Khaski F1 Sweet Pepper — an ultra-early hybrid from the Dutch selection company Enza Zaden, suitable for cultivation in open and protected soil. The maturation period is 50–55 days, allowing for a quick harvest. The plant is compact, medium-height, reaching up to 70 cm, with a strong root system and abundant foliage, which promotes good development and high yield. The hybrid adapts well to adverse conditions and temperature fluctuations, and positively responds to intensive agronomic practices, including staking and systematic watering.

Khaski pepper fruits have a conical shape, reaching up to 15 cm in length and 160–180 g in weight. The wall thickness is 6–9 mm, ensuring dense and fleshy fruit structure. In technical ripeness, the fruits are white, and in biological ripeness — deep red, giving them an attractive commercial appearance. Due to their dense structure, the fruits are easy to transport and suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and processing.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major diseases of solanaceous crops, such as tobacco mosaic virus and bacterial spot (races 1–3). This makes it a reliable choice for cultivation under various conditions, including greenhouses, polytunnels, and open ground. The optimal planting density is 3–4 plants per square meter, which helps effectively utilize the area and achieve a high yield.
