BALICO

The BALICO pepper variety is a medium-early type with a semi-spreading plant of medium height. The leaves are short, medium-wide, and dark green. The fruits have a prismatic shape, drooping, with a glossy surface. In technical ripeness, they are green, and in biological ripeness — red. Each fruit contains four or more locules, weighs up to 260 grams, and has a wall thickness of 8 mm.

This variety is characterized by high yield, approximately 7.2 kg per square meter. BALICO pepper is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) and other diseases, making it a reliable choice for cultivation both in open and protected soil. The recommended planting period is March–April, with an optimal planting scheme of 50x30 cm.

BALICO is renowned for its sweet taste and good long-term storage, making it popular among farmers and gardeners. The variety is adapted to various climatic conditions, allowing successful cultivation in different regions, including Russia.
