Atilius pepper — an ultra-early hybrid variety, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under cover. Plants are strong, compact, and heavily branched, promoting high fruit set intensity and ensuring high yield potential. Fruits are conical, reaching 7-14 cm in length and 120–160 g in weight. In technical maturity, they are light green, and in biological maturity, they are bright red with a glossy surface and wall thickness of 5–7 mm. Atilius is distinguished by an exceptionally short period from technical to biological maturity, enabling rapid harvest. The hybrid has high marketability and good transportability, making it attractive for both fresh consumption and processing. The variety is resistant to several diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus, bacterial blight, blossom end rot, and others, significantly reducing harvest losses and enhancing production stability. The hybrid was developed by the Italian company River Seeds, guaranteeing high quality and modern agronomic characteristics.
