Topgear

Topgear F1 pepper is an early-maturing hybrid of sweet pepper of Hungarian wax type, developed by Rijk Zwaan from the Netherlands. The vegetative period is 55-60 days from seedling transplanting. Fruits have a conical shape and average weight of 140-150 grams. In technical ripeness, they are light green, and in biological ripeness — red. Fruit wall thickness is 6-7 mm, ensuring juiciness and firmness of the flesh.

The plant is adapted for cultivation both in polyethylene greenhouses and in open ground. Topgear pepper features good fruit set and high resistance to stress conditions, making it a reliable choice for various climatic zones. Recommended planting density is 3 plants per square meter in covered ground and 35-40 thousand plants per hectare in open ground.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to tobacco mosaic virus (Tm: 0-2) and medium resistance to tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV:0). These traits contribute to stable yields and reduced losses from diseases. Topgear F1 pepper combines early maturity, attractive appearance, and excellent taste qualities, making it popular among gardeners and farmers.
