Pepper Arktika

Growing 'Arktika' Pepper: A Grower’s Perspective

When selecting a pepper variety for commercial production, the main focus is always on consistency. 'Arktika', developed by the 'Geterozisnaya Selektsiya' team, is a dependable choice for farmers who prioritize yield stability. With a maturity period of 80–100 days, this variety fits perfectly into seasonal crop rotation, showing reliable performance in both glass greenhouses and open-field environments.

Yield and Quality Management

From an operator's point of view, 'Arktika' is highly practical. The fruits are uniform and rounded, weighing between 80–100 grams. A key technical feature is the wall thickness of 6–7 mm. This provides enough firmness to ensure the produce survives transport without bruising, while maintaining the juiciness expected by consumers. The genetics, perfected by originators Anatoly Aliluev and Tatyana Shtaynert, allow for a predictable crop that responds well to standard professional nutrient programs.

• Durability: 6–7 mm thick walls offer superior shelf life and transport safety.
• Flexibility: Suitable for both protected glass structures and open-ground farming.
• Marketability: Consistent shape and weight simplify grading and packaging processes.

By choosing 'Arktika', growers can effectively reduce the percentage of downgraded produce. Its balanced growth habit and reliable production cycle make it an efficient tool for professional vegetable farming, ensuring that your harvest meets market standards from the first batch to the last.
