Description Gypsy F1
Sweet pepper Gypsy F1 is one of the earliest and highest-yielding Hungarian-type hybrids developed by breeders of the company Seminis from the Netherlands. This hybrid is intended for cultivation both in open ground and in protected environments, including glass and plastic greenhouses. The plant is compact, medium-sized, reaching a height of 45-55 cm, with a spreading form and strong stems requiring mandatory support on a vertical stake. Due to its adaptability to growing conditions and care, as well as high resistance to tobacco mosaic virus (strain P0) and fungal diseases, Gypsy F1 is a reliable choice for farmers and gardeners.

The fruits of Gypsy F1 pepper have a conical shape and a three-chamber structure, reaching a size of approximately 10x6 cm. The fruit walls are dense and elastic, with a thickness of 5-7 mm, ensuring excellent transportability and preservation of flavor qualities during storage and thermal processing. The weight of a single fruit is approximately 90-120 g. The fruit color changes during ripening: in technical maturity, they are light yellow or yellow-green, and in biological maturity, they turn bright red. The flesh is juicy, with a rich flavor and pleasant aroma, making this pepper versatile for fresh consumption, canning, and processing.

The ripening period of Gypsy F1 is very early — the first harvest can be collected as early as 58-62 days after transplanting seedlings, and it is recommended to grow seedlings without transplanting for an earlier harvest. Each plant produces 10 to 12 well-formed fruits. Regular watering and fertilization are essential for increasing yield. The optimal planting density is 35-40 thousand plants per hectare. Due to its characteristics, the Gypsy F1 hybrid is well-suited for cultivation both on a commercial scale and in private gardens.
