The "Charm" onion belongs to the Allium fistulosum type and is intended for the use of green leaves in fresh form. This is a mid-season variety; the period from the beginning of regrowth to technical maturity of leaves is 37-40 days. Leaves of this variety are flat, light green in color with a light waxy coating, reaching a width of up to 1.9 cm and a length of up to 28 cm. The taste of the leaves is mildly sharp with a characteristic garlic odor, which makes them attractive for use in cooking.

The content of dry matter in the leaves is 9.7%, the total sugar level is 4.5%, and ascorbic acid is 64.25 mg per 100 g of raw material. The mass of one plant varies from 20 to 24 g. The yield of green leaves at one cutting reaches 1.7 kg per square meter, and with multiple cuttings during the season - from 3.3 to 4.0 kg per square meter.
