HEALTH TREASURE

Health Treasure is a new early-maturing variety of perennial leek (Allium nutans L.), characterized by early and uniform spring regrowth, as well as a prolonged harvest period. In the first year, selective harvesting of greens is conducted 70-80 days after germination, while in the second year, the period from the start of regrowth to commercial readiness of leaves is 30-35 days. The variety is characterized by high green yield — 3.5-4.0 kg per square meter.

The leek leaves are flat, 25-30 cm long and about 1.5 cm wide, tender and juicy, and do not harden for a long time. The leaf blade has a yellowish-green tint with a medium-intensity waxy coating and is twisted in a spiral. The greens have a mild spicy taste with a pleasant garlic aroma, making this variety particularly attractive for fresh consumption. The mass of one plant reaches 40-45 grams.

The variety is recommended for growing in various regions and is suitable for sowing from early spring to midsummer, as well as under winter in late October. Due to its taste qualities and high yield, Health Treasure is excellent for use in fresh form, ensuring a stable and quality greens harvest throughout the season.
