The Mironovskoye 51 corn variety is an intensive, high-yielding variety with a vegetation period of 89-98 days and plant height of 73-83 cm. It was developed by the Mironovskiy Institute of Wheat named after V.M. Remesla of the Ukrainian Academy of Agricultural Sciences and is characterized by high yields of 46-62 centners per hectare. The variety belongs to the mid-late maturing group and is well adapted to the forest-steppe conditions of Ukraine, where the optimal sowing time is the first decade of May, when the soil temperature reaches 10-12 °C at a depth of 10 cm.
Mironovskoye 51 is characterized by high resistance to lodging, shattering, and drought, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under various climatic conditions. Its moderate resistance to diseases and pests reduces the risk of crop loss, while high cultivation standards help maximize the variety’s potential. The recommended seeding rate is 3.6-4.2 million germinating seeds per hectare, ensuring optimal plant density and high productivity.
The grain of this variety has high quality and good taste characteristics, with a milling yield of 76-79% and a 1000-grain weight of 7.3-7.8 g. The seeds are sold in elite reproduction, guaranteeing high germination and uniformity of planting material. When purchased, bulk packaging and loading onto motor transport are provided, as well as delivery under favorable conditions. The producer provides agronomic and advisory support, free storage of seeds until sowing, and optional seed treatment for an additional fee.
