RED SAIL – a perennial herbaceous plant reaching up to 130 cm in height, captivating with its bright red pyramidal inflorescences up to 35 cm long. Flowers bloom sequentially from bottom to top, starting in June and continuing until September, provided fading buds are removed in time. This allows for a secondary flowering in August.
The plant is undemanding in care: it prefers sunny locations and soils with good drainage and moderate moisture. It does not require strict fertility conditions – suitable for most soil types. For planting, sow seeds in April–May at a depth of 2–3 cm, spaced 20–25 cm apart (scheme 30×30 cm). If necessary, only young plants should be transplanted.
To maintain health and prolonged flowering, regular fertilization with the complex mineral fertilizer "AELITA-FLOWER" is recommended, which contains NPK and microelements. Also, the plant easily combines with other perennials, such as hostas, irises, and sneezeweed, making it an excellent choice for single and group plantings, as well as for decorative cuttings.
