Clover leys of the "Novichok" variety is a diploid, single-cut variety developed by the Chernigov Regional Agricultural Experimental Station and included in the State Register for the Northwestern and Central regions. Plants are characterized by a sprawling or semi-sprawling bush form with stem heights up to 121 cm and average stem thickness. Leaves are trifoliate, elongated-oval in shape, weakly pubescent, colored from light green to dark green. Inflorescences have a round or oval-round shape and are violet in color. Seeds are heart-shaped, multicolored, with a hard seed content of up to 16%.
