DREAM SQUINIA

The 'Dream Squinia' grape variety is a universal early variety, characterized by a medium-sized vine, medium-sized leaves with moderate incision and pubescence. The clusters of this variety are cylindrical, medium density, and weigh about 205 grams, while the berries are oval and red-black in color. The sugar content of the berries is approximately 17.4%, acidity is 7.5 g/L, which provides a tart-sweet taste and a high tasting score of fresh berries at 8.3 points. Average yield per vine reaches 3.6 kg, making the variety attractive for home gardening.

The 'Dream Squinia' variety was obtained by crossing hybrid forms and is recommended for cultivation in non-industrial viticulture zones, including the Central areas of the Chernozem and Non-Chernozem regions, as well as the Middle and Lower Volga regions. The plant is well-adapted to these regions and is suitable for cultivation in a cordon-free, multi-arm fan shape with short and medium-length pruning. Shoot ripening of the variety is good, and the berries are juicy and fleshy-juicy with thin skin, which contributes to a pleasant harmonious taste and good transportability.

The variety has medium susceptibility to fungal diseases such as mildew, oidium, and gray rot; in the absence of chemical treatment, infection levels can reach 40-60%. Frost resistance of the variety is low, so successful cultivation requires considering the climatic conditions of the region. Due to its characteristics and taste qualities, 'Dream Squinia' is a promising variety for home viticulture and can be used both for fresh consumption and for juice production.
