Muscat Ottonel

Muscat Ottonel — a universal grape variety belonging to the eco-geographical group of western European varieties. This variety gained widespread popularity in Western Europe in the second half of the 19th century. The vegetation period lasts about 127 days, allowing it to ripen early. The plant has a medium-growing habit and bisexual flowering. The berries have a white or golden hue, round shape, firm and juicy flesh with a distinctly muscat flavor and aroma. Muscat Ottonel is resistant to moderate temperatures and many diseases, but lacks resistance to phylloxera. Due to its characteristics, this variety is widely used for producing high-quality table wines and juices, and is also suitable for fresh consumption. The berries are distinguished by their rich aroma and pleasant taste, making this variety popular both in winemaking and table grape cultivation. For planting, Muscat Ottonel saplings grafted onto strong-growing rootstocks RR 101-14 are offered, ensuring good survival and plant development.
