Moscow Moscat is a table grape variety, characterized by early maturity and vigorous vine growth. The berries are oval-shaped with a light green color and a distinctive muscat aftertaste, giving them a harmonious flavor. Bunches are large, cylinder-conical in shape with medium density, weighing about 475–500 grams. Sugar content in the berries reaches 17.4%, while acidity is 6.1 g/l, ensuring a pleasant balance of sweetness and acidity. Average yield per vine is about 4.6 kg.
The variety has high frost resistance, withstanding temperatures down to -25°C, allowing cultivation in regions with cold winters. Vines are vigorous with cut leaves, requiring regular care, including fertilization, pruning, and winter covering. To protect against diseases, treatment with Bordeaux mixture and other fungicides is recommended. Vine pruning is conducted after harvest to maintain plant health and increase productivity.
Moscow Moscat is intended for table use and is well-suited for growing in sunny areas. The variety shows above-average resistance to diseases and pests, which simplifies care and improves yield quality. Growing in protected soil is also recommended to improve growth conditions and increase yield.
