Nizina grape is an early-mid-season table variety developed by amateur breeding by Krainov V. N. The ripening period is about 125-130 days. Bunches are large, cylindrical in shape, weighing from 650 to 1200 grams and more. Berries are oval-shaped, large - approximately 30 by 22 mm in size and weighing from 10 to 15 grams, with a red-violet color with a granite-red tint. The pulp is fleshy and juicy, the skin is edible, the taste is harmonious and sweet, with sugar content up to 19%. Nizina grapevines have medium growth vigor and high yield - up to 10 to 14.4 kg of berries per plant. The variety is characterized by good transportability and marketability, making it attractive for cultivation by both beginners and experienced viticulturists. For successful cultivation, it is recommended to provide bushes with good lighting and protection from northern winds. Nizina grape has high frost resistance - withstands temperatures down to -23...-24 °C, but in northern and central regions of Ukraine requires winter cover. The variety is resistant to fungal diseases, in particular downy mildew and gray mold, which facilitates care and reduces the risk of crop losses. Thanks to the combination of large, tasty berries and resistance to unfavorable conditions, Nizina grape is an excellent choice for amateur and commercial cultivation.
