The DenisoVskiy grape variety belongs to early-ripening varieties with vigorous bushes. The clusters have a medium size, cylindrical-conical shape, and moderate density, with a weight of about 200-210 grams per cluster. The berries are medium-sized, round, dark blue or black, with a harmonious and sweet taste. The flesh is juicy, sugar content reaches 20-22%, and acidity is within 7-8 g/l. The average yield per bush with a planting scheme of 3 by 1.5 meters is about 4 kg, corresponding to a yield of 140 centners per hectare. The variety is characterized by high frost resistance down to -26°C and increased disease resistance. It has good resistance to downy mildew (3-3.5 points) and medium resistance to powdery mildew (4 points), while being weakly affected by rot due to its early ripening period. The recommended load on the bush is 30-40 buds when pruning fruit canes to a length of 6-7 buds. Fruit-bearing shoots are usually 60-70%, with 1.1-1.3 clusters per shoot. The variety is well compatible with the COber 5BB rootstock and can also be grown on self-rooted stock. DenisoVskiy grape is widely used for the production of various types of wine, including dry, sparkling, and dessert wines. Its harmonious taste and balanced sugar and acidity levels make it attractive to winemakers seeking a quality product with an early ripening period.
