Memorial to Streleva — a mid-early table grape variety, bred in 2005 by crossing Madeline Angevine, Malenigr Early, Zhemchug Saba, and Chasla White. Bushes are medium-sized with large green leaves, which are smooth on the upper side and hairy on the lower side. Bunches have a conical shape, are compact and dense, weighing from 240 to 550 grams. Berries are oval, green or greenish-yellow in color at full maturity, weighing about 2.4 grams, and have excellent dessert flavor. The variety ripens in August-September and contains about 10.7% sugars, 1.04–1.4% organic acids, and 8.1 mg of vitamin C per 100 grams.
This grape is characterized by good resistance to low temperatures, diseases, and pests, which allows it to be grown in various climatic conditions, including the Ural and Siberia. The variety's hardiness is medium, but thanks to covering and snow cover, plants withstand frosts well. The variety is recommended for cultivation in covered culture in all agricultural regions of Russia and Belarus.
Agronomy includes careful selection of planting site, soil preparation, regular watering, fertilization, pruning, and mandatory covering for winter. Yield is high — about 120 centners per hectare or 4.5 kilograms per bush. Thanks to its taste qualities and resistance, Memorial to Streleva is a popular choice for table grape lovers.
