NEVA

The «Neva» variety represents a pasture-hay type, characterized by high resistance to trampling and the ability to maintain quality in the grassland for 5–7 years. When used for hay production, green mass yield reaches 30–40 t/ha, and hay yield reaches 7–9 t/ha. Seeds yield 250 to 300 kg/ha, with protein content in hay ranging from 11.6–14.5% and fiber content up to 25%. The variety is medium-early maturing: it takes 34–38 days from the start of spring regrowth to heading, and 81–88 days to seed maturity. Frost resistance is moderate, and the plant is weakly affected by powdery mildew.

For soil preparation under «Neva», it is convenient to use the «Yozhik» cultivator on a double hitch. It can be mounted on walk-behind tractors with both air and water cooling systems and is designed for soil loosening as well as weed clearance between rows. The cultivator is easy to operate but effective during both pre-emergence and post-emergence periods of vegetable crops.

The cultivator's dimensions are 1000 × 700 × 750 mm, it weighs 49 kg, and is supplied with a double hitch and two double cultivators. Such a kit ensures convenient work in fields where high-quality soil processing is required for optimal growth of «Neva» variety plants.
