Fescue NEGEV

A Reliable Foundation for Premium Lawns

Fescue of the 'Negev' variety from the German breeding powerhouse Deutsche Saatveredelung is the choice for professionals prioritizing durability and aesthetic consistency. In professional landscaping, this variety is prized for its reliability: it forms a dense turf capable of withstanding moderate traffic while maintaining a vibrant green color throughout the growing season.

Practical Applications

• Urban Landscaping: Due to its high adaptability, 'Negev' is frequently included in seed mixtures for public parks and squares, where low-maintenance performance and aesthetic appeal are essential.
• Private Landscapes: The variety excels in creating a background lawn that integrates seamlessly with landscape features without requiring excessive upkeep.
• Soil Stabilization and Restoration: The dense root system of this fescue effectively prevents soil erosion, making it a rational choice for embankments and terrains with complex relief.

The practical value of 'Negev' lies in the balance between rapid establishment and slow vegetative growth. For site managers, this translates into fewer mowing cycles and reduced resource expenditure on territory maintenance. The German breeding standards of Deutsche Saatveredelung ensure high seed purity, which is critical for preventing weed infestation during the establishment phase.
