Fescue VERDARK

European Breeding for Resilient Forage

The tall fescue variety 'Ferdark' represents the latest advancements from Feldsaaten Freudenberger GmbH & Co. KG, a company renowned for its robust forage breeding programs. Officially registered in Ukraine in 2023, this variety has quickly become a preferred choice for producers looking to secure high-quality feed in challenging environments.

Unmatched Adaptability

The core strength of 'Ferdark' lies in its resilience. It has been rigorously tested and approved for cultivation across all major Ukrainian agro-climatic zones, including the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissya. This broad adaptability makes it a versatile solution for diverse soil and weather conditions.

Key Technical Advantages

• Drought Tolerance: Engineered to withstand prolonged moisture deficits, the variety maintains its green biomass even during periods of extreme heat.
• Usage: Specifically developed for high-yield pasture and hay production, offering excellent nutritional value for livestock.
• Stability: As a population variety, 'Ferdark' ensures consistent performance and reliable stand development over multiple years of exploitation.

Choosing 'Ferdark' is a strategic decision for modern agriculture. By leveraging the expertise of Feldsaaten Freudenberger, farmers gain a reliable tool to maximize land productivity, even in regions previously considered marginal for intensive forage cultivation due to climate volatility.
