Dill Pobeditel

Consistency and Yield: Why «Pobeditel» is a Standard for Leaf Dill

In the market of greens, the «Pobeditel» dill variety holds a position as a reliable «workhorse» for both home gardens and small-scale farms. Developed by breeders from the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Production (FGBNU FNTsO) in collaboration with the seed company «Poisk», this variety is a prime example of high-quality selection adapted to a wide range of climatic zones.

Agronomic Profile

«Pobeditel» belongs to the leafy category. Its key feature is the intense regrowth of greens after cutting. This is a critical factor for those growing the crop for commercial purposes or aiming to provide fresh produce for the entire season. The leaves of this variety are characterized by a deep dark green color with a waxy bloom; they maintain their marketability for a long time and possess a distinct spicy aroma highly valued in culinary arts.

Cultivation Specifics

The breeding work by FGBNU FNTsO was focused on creating stable planting material. «Pobeditel» demonstrates high plasticity, developing successfully both in open fields and under film covers. Due to its biological resilience, the variety is less susceptible to common diseases of leafy greens, which reduces the need for additional pesticide treatments—an essential argument for supporters of organic farming practices.
