Dill variety Karlusha is a high-yielding mid-season variety with a period from germination to marketability of 30-40 days. The plants are compact, of medium height, with large, tender and juicy leaves, possessing a rich and distinct aroma. The mass of one plant at harvest for greens is 18-25 grams, and 102-110 grams for spice collection. Marketable yield reaches 2.0-2.5 kg per square meter for greens and 3.8-4.2 kg per square meter for spices.
Variety Karlusha is characterized by high cold resistance and resistance to bolting, ensuring a long period of use of greens. Dill is suitable for various methods of application: fresh consumption, pickling, drying and freezing. Due to its characteristics, it is also excellent for growing at home, in pots on windowsills and balconies.
For sowing, it is recommended to bury the seeds 1-1.5 cm deep in open ground. To ensure continuous receipt of greens throughout the season, seeds are sown several times with an interval of 15-20 days. An earlier harvest is possible with autumn sowing at the end of October - beginning of November.
