Description LEMONA
Lemon Basil is an early-ripening variety with a pronounced lemon aroma that adds fresh citrus notes to a variety of dishes. The medium-height plant has thin, smooth oval leaves with a slightly wavy edge and a short petiole, giving it an elegant and neat appearance. Thanks to its rapid growth, Lemon Basil reaches harvest readiness just 40-45 days after germination, allowing you to obtain fresh greens in a short time.

This variety is versatile and suitable for year-round cultivation in both open and protected ground. Cultivation is possible via seedling method or direct sowing into the ground, with optimal seedling sowing dates in late March to early April and transplanting in early June. Direct sowing into the ground is recommended in May-June, following a planting scheme of 25x30 cm. Green yield reaches 3.4 kg per square meter, while the mass of one plant is about 250 grams.

Lemon Basil is widely used fresh and dried in home cooking and canning. Its bright lemon aroma pairs excellently with fish dishes and is suitable for flavoring drinks, making this variety indispensable for those who appreciate original taste nuances and the freshness of greens in their diet.
