Description
Dill variety RUSSIAN GIANT is a unique bushy variety with large leaves and a dense rosette, ensuring a bountiful harvest of tender aromatic greens. Thanks to the elevated rosette, leaves remain clean even during rains, which facilitates their harvesting and preserves the quality of the greens. This variety is characterized by late flowering, allowing the collection of fresh greens almost all summer without the need for repeated sowings.
The mass of one plant at harvest for greens reaches up to 150 grams, and when used as a spice — up to 220 grams. Sowing seeds is recommended in the ground at the end of April — beginning of May. For obtaining an earlier harvest, dill can be grown via seedlings, which allows starting the collection of greens as early as the second half of May.
RUSSIAN GIANT is excellent for those who value high yield and green quality. Its large leaves and dense rosette make this variety easy to care for and harvest, while a long growing period ensures a stable supply of fresh greens throughout the season.
