GLADIATOR is a mid-late variety of bush-type dill, distinguished by high yield and a strong aromatic scent. The plants are compact, about 120 cm tall, with large green finely dissected leaves and dense foliage. The mass of one plant at harvest for greenery is 20-25 g, and at harvest for spices — 55-60 g. The variety is characterized by rapid growth and high cold resistance, which allows extending the usage period of greenery without forming an umbel.
The period from germination to harvest for greenery is 45-50 days, and to harvest for spices — 100-110 days. Plants form a medium-sized umbel with 47-50 rays, which ensures high yield and resistance to premature stem elongation. Due to strong aroma and saturated green color, dill GLADIATOR is suitable for fresh consumption, drying, and freezing.
The variety is recommended for sowing at a soil temperature of 15–17 °C, with several sowings per season at intervals of 20-25 days to ensure continuous crop harvesting. GLADIATOR allows obtaining a high yield with minimal resource expenditures, making it a profitable choice for cultivation both in private households and in commercial production.
