Corn hybrid Kharkivskiy 325 MV is a medium-early, high-yielding variety with a vegetation period of 110–131 days depending on the climatic zone. Plants reach a height of 220–250 cm, have 16–17 leaves, and form cylindrical ears 22–26 cm long positioned at a height of approximately 80–95 cm. The kernels are dent-shaped, yellow, with a 1000-kernel weight of 280–290 g and a grain yield of up to 84–85%. The ear stalk is red-colored, which is a distinctive feature of the hybrid.
The hybrid exhibits rapid early growth and high resistance to lodging, ear drooping, and major diseases such as smut and ear rot, stalk rot. Its resistance level to corn borer is medium, meeting standard requirements. Additionally, the hybrid has high cold tolerance (4.7 points) and good drought tolerance, enabling successful cultivation in various soil-climatic zones, including steppe, forest-steppe, and lowland areas of Ukraine.
Potential grain yield reaches 11–11.2 t/ha, while green mass yield is 60–62 t/ha with dry matter content of 32–33% and starch content of 74%. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in forest-steppe zones and is produced on a sterile M-type basis with high sterility of the maternal form (98–99%). Optimal planting scheme and density depend on the region, ensuring maximum fertility recovery and high yield. Seeds are packaged in 1 kg and 25 kg bags and undergo fungicide treatment for disease protection.
