Description Odessa 360 MV
The hybrid corn Odessa 360 MV (FAO 350) is a medium-maturing, simple modified hybrid with a vegetation period of 118-120 days. It is developed by crossing a simple modified hybrid Smena AM with a self-pollinated restorer line. The plant reaches a height of 270-300 cm and has 17-18 leaves on the main stem. Ears are large, weighing 240-260 g, slightly conical in shape, with yellow, dent-type kernels. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to wilt, rot, and smut, as well as good tolerance to airborne smut and corn borer.

Odessa 360 MV has a high potential for grain and silage yield, reaching 120-143 ц/ha at 14% grain moisture. It is characterized by accelerated development and formation of significant leaf-stem biomass with quality silage characteristics. The hybrid has excellent water-excreting ability, high cold resistance, very good drought tolerance, and heat tolerance. Due to its high compensatory capacity, it tolerates sparse planting well.

Recommended for cultivation in forest-steppe, northern and southern steppe zones, as well as for minimal soil tillage and irrigation. The hybrid is suitable for early planting, but optimal planting dates must be observed and harvest delays should be avoided. Seed production is conducted on a sterile basis with complete fertility restoration, ensuring high-quality planting material.
