Hobbit corn is a mid-early super-sweet SH2 hybrid with a vegetation period of 70 to 76 days. Plants reach a height of about 180 cm and exhibit high resilience, continuing active growth even under temperature changes. The ears are conical or cylindrical, over 20 cm long, with a diameter of about 5-5.5 cm and weight of 200-250 g. The kernels on the ears are distributed in approximately 25% white and 75% yellow, giving them an attractive market appearance and a rich sweet flavor with sugar content over 22%. This corn hybrid is ideally suited for cultivation in various regions, including Ukraine, and is intended for both fresh consumption and processing. Thanks to its high yield, under proper agronomy, each plant can produce 2-3 ears. Hobbit corn has excellent transportability and storability when temperature conditions are maintained, preserving its market quality during storage and transport. Hobbit corn is widely used for fresh market sales, canning, freezing, and culinary purposes. Its high sugar content and beneficial microelements make it not only delicious but also nutritious. The hybrid is produced using modern selection technologies, ensuring consistent quality and uniformity of the product.
