The main advantage of "Khmelnytskyi" is its comprehensive resistance to pathogens that often threaten yields. Genetic protection against fusarium, common and head smut, and stalk rots allows for significant savings on fungicide applications. Furthermore, the hybrid shows strong endurance against pests, such as the European corn borer and the cotton bollworm, which is crucial in regions with high pest pressure.
