DMS Kush

DMS Kush — a high-yielding hybrid of sweet corn, developed by breeders of the company MAIS. This hybrid is characterized by medium maturity and is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including the steppe, forest-steppe, and Polissia. The vegetative period lasts approximately 111–117 days, ensuring optimal ripening time and stable yields. Plants reach a height of about 238–266 cm, and ears are positioned at a height of 85–95 cm. The kernels are toothed, yellow-orange in color, with 14–16 rows, contributing to high product quality and yield.

The DMS Kush hybrid exhibits high drought and heat tolerance, which is especially important for regions with variable weather conditions. It also demonstrates good cold resistance and resistance to major corn diseases, including helminthosporiosis and rust. Plants are not prone to lodging, facilitating harvest and reducing yield losses. Additionally, the hybrid features rapid kernel moisture loss during the final stage of vegetation, which improves kernel quality and reduces the risk of damage.

DMS Kush is suitable for cultivation both for grain and silage use, making it a versatile solution for farmers. The hybrid responds well to various agronomic practices and is adapted to resource-saving cultivation technologies. Its high yield potential, reaching up to 151 centners per hectare, and stable performance make DMS Kush a profitable choice for farmers aiming for efficient and sustainable sweet corn production.
