Moscow 82 is a variety of soft winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) characterized by medium maturity and high growth. It exhibits high resistance to lodging and above-average winter hardiness, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various regions. The vegetative period of the variety ranges from 236 to 348 days depending on the region, allowing it to adapt to different climatic conditions. The mass of 1000 grains ranges from 36 to 51 grams, indicating good grain quality.

The variety has been included in the State Register for several regions, including the Volga-Vyatka, Central Black Earth, and Lower Volga regions, and is recommended for cultivation in such oblasts as Nizhny Novgorod, Oryol, and the Kalmykia Republic. The yield of the variety reaches 39.8 c/ha in the Volga-Vyatka region and 46.4 c/ha in the Central Black Earth region, confirming its high productivity. Compared to other varieties, such as Skipter, Moscow 82 shows not less, but sometimes exceeding yield.

Baking qualities of the variety are assessed as good, although in some cases they may vary from weak wheat to satisfactory filler. The variety has drought resistance at the level of standards, however, it is susceptible to certain diseases, such as brown rust, solid smut, Fusarium head blight, and powdery mildew. Nevertheless, high resistance to lodging and winter hardiness make Moscow 82 a promising and reliable choice for agricultural production.
