Clover DOBRYNIA

Operational profile of Dobrynya Clover

Selecting the right variety for forage production requires balancing yield potential with operational simplicity. Dobrynya, developed by the V.R. Williams FRC and the Nemchinovka FRC, is designed specifically for intensive haymaking and grazing systems.

Field Management and Maintenance

The fibrous root system of Dobrynya ensures excellent establishment across various soil types, creating a uniform and dense sward. From an operator's perspective, the variety is highly reliable, requiring minimal interventions aside from timely harvesting. A key performance indicator is the rapid regrowth rate after cutting, which significantly optimizes the machinery schedule and minimizes downtime during the harvest season.

Economic Advantages

• Feed Value: Highly efficient for producing protein-rich hay and consistent green forage.
• Pollinator Support: The variety is noted for its high attractiveness to bees, offering secondary income potential for apiaries located near the fields.
• Resilience: Bred specifically to withstand local climatic challenges, reducing the risks associated with reseeding or stand failure.

Integrating Dobrynya into your crop rotation not only secures a stable supply of high-quality feed but also enhances soil structure, contributing to the overall long-term profitability of the farm.
