Clover BLIZZARD

A Reliable Choice for High-Protein Forage

When it comes to building a sustainable fodder base, the "Blizzard" clover variety from Feldsaaten Freudenberger is a standout for its reliability and field performance. This variety consistently yields 30–40 tons of green mass per hectare, making it a workhorse for any livestock operation.

Field Management and Harvesting

With plant heights ranging from 30 to 60 cm, "Blizzard" provides a uniform stand that is easy to manage with standard harvesting equipment. The 15–25 day flowering period offers a comfortable window for mowing, ensuring that the crop is captured at its nutritional peak. The standout feature here is the high protein content, which significantly enhances the quality of hay and silage.

• Nutritional Value: Exceptional protein levels ensure higher livestock growth rates.
• Beekeeping Advantage: The white blossoms act as a magnet for pollinators, providing a dual benefit for honey production and improved fertilization.
• Harvest Efficiency: The consistent growth habit minimizes machine downtime and reduces losses during mowing.

Working with "Blizzard" is straightforward. It has strong germination energy and establishes itself well, meaning less time spent on stand maintenance. This is German breeding at its best—focused on high output and practical, everyday utility. If you are looking to maximize your forage quality while supporting pollinator health, "Blizzard" is a proven solution that delivers return on investment every single season.
