SOLIGALICH LOCAL is a type of red clover (Trifolium pratense L.), belonging to the legume group of grasses. It was created at the Kostroma Research Institute of Agriculture and registered in 1953. This variety is intended for cultivation in a single-cut regime and is recommended for use in various regions of Russia, including the Kaliningrad, Kostroma, Leningrad, Novgorod, Pskov, Tver, and Yaroslavl regions. Red clover is an important fodder crop with high nutritional value that helps improve soil fertility through nitrogen fixation.
In recent years, research has been conducted on the productivity and nutritional value of the SOLIGALICH LOCAL red clover variety, as well as its impact on the fertility of podzolic soils. Sowing was carried out both under a cover of oats and without a cover, using various fertilizer options, including lime and mineral fertilizers (NPK). The results showed that the application of lime and mineral fertilizers contributes to increased productivity and digestible protein content in plants. The maximum yield of green mass was noted in another clover variety, however, SOLIGALICH LOCAL also demonstrates stable productivity and good adaptation to growing conditions.
The SOLIGALICH LOCAL variety is characterized by stability and is suitable for cultivation in a single-cut regime, which simplifies agricultural practices. It contributes to improving soil structure and increasing its fertility due to the ability to accumulate organic residues and fix atmospheric nitrogen. This clover is widely used in fodder production, providing animals with high-quality and nutritious feed, and is an important crop for crop rotations and land restoration.
