Clover Dragon

Ural breeding for the perfect lawn

The 'Drakon' clover is the result of extensive work by researchers at the Ural Federal Agrarian Scientific Research Center. This variety was developed to meet the market demand for a low-growing, aesthetically pleasing, and low-maintenance ground cover capable of withstanding the challenging climatic conditions of northern regions.

Characteristics and morphology

Classified as white clover (Trifolium repens), this variety stands out due to its compact size. With a vegetative height ranging from 20 to 40 cm, it is an optimal solution for residential and park lawns that do not require frequent mowing. The inflorescences feature both classic white and delicate pink shades, ensuring high ornamental value throughout the summer season.

Eco-value and melliferous potential

Beyond its decorative merits, 'Drakon' has established itself as an excellent honey plant for small-scale farms. Its ability to attract bees makes it an ideal addition to areas where maintaining biodiversity and natural pollination of other crops is a priority. Furthermore, its root system effectively stabilizes the soil, preventing erosion, which is particularly beneficial for slopes and uneven terrain.

Why choose 'Drakon'

• Professional breeding: developed by experts at the Uralsky Federal Agrarian Scientific Research Center, ensuring genetic purity and predictable performance.
• Adaptability: the variety is well-suited for regions with significant climatic fluctuations.
• Practicality: minimal maintenance and a controlled growth rate reduce the time and effort required for landscape management.

Choosing this variety is an investment in sustainable landscaping that successfully balances durability, aesthetic appeal, and support for the local ecosystem.
