Clover Faina

Why «Fayna» is the Professional Choice for Hay Production

«Fayna» red clover, developed by the Nosivka Research Station, is a specialized variety engineered for intensive green mass production. Unlike general-purpose varieties, «Fayna» demonstrates high-precision efficiency, where every kilogram of dry matter directly boosts livestock productivity.

Key Advantages

• Protein Concentration: The genetics of this variety are optimized for protein accumulation, which is critical for hay quality and reducing the need for expensive feed concentrates.
• Honey Production Potential: The vibrant red flowers actively attract pollinators, ensuring high biomass yield even when cultivated near apiaries.
• Adaptability: Bred specifically for the Ukrainian climate, this variety ensures predictable winter hardiness and resistance to local phytopathogens.

Who is this variety for? «Fayna» is optimal for farms focused on high-quality cattle feed. If your goal is maximizing nutritional value in hay without excessive investment in mineral fertilizers, this clover will become a cornerstone of your forage crop rotation.

Usage Guidelines

The variety is specifically bred for hay production. It is sensitive to the cutting schedule: to maximize protein retention, it is essential to harvest during the budding stage to early flowering. Ignoring this timing decreases feed digestibility. While «Fayna» is forgiving regarding general agronomic techniques, its full potential is realized only when proper crop rotation and harvesting deadlines are strictly maintained.
