Clover ALTYN

The ALTYN alfalfa variety is a two-cut species with an early maturity period. The stems of this variety are of medium height and thickness, and it lacks pubescence or has very weak pubescence. A distinguishing feature of the variety is the large number of plants with white markers, while the seeds have a yellow color. The spherical-shaped inflorescences of a purple color give the plant an attractive appearance.

ALTYN demonstrates yield levels comparable to the standard, while in the Central and Volga-Vyatka regions, the variety surpasses the standard in terms of protein content in dry matter and gross yield. In the Central-Black Earth region, it is distinguished primarily by the gross protein yield, making it valuable for feed use. The variety has medium resistance to diseases: clover anthracnose infection is above average, while fusarium wilt and anthracnose manifest to a medium degree.
