Carrot Voronezh Delicacy

Operational advantages and field performance

«Voronezhskaya Lakomka» is a pragmatic choice for producers focusing on early market entry combined with strong post-harvest storage capabilities. With a maturity period of 60–70 days, this variety fits into intensive farming schedules, allowing for quick turnover of land and early revenue generation.

From an operator's perspective, the variety offers high consistency. The cylindrical shape, reaching 15–20 cm in length, is perfectly suited for modern grading and packaging lines, significantly reducing labor costs during post-harvest processing. The vibrant orange color is maintained throughout the season, ensuring high market value.

Handling and cultivation management

• Mechanization readiness: The uniform cylindrical form minimizes product damage during mechanized harvesting, leading to a higher percentage of marketable produce.
• Storage and processing: Despite the early maturity, the variety exhibits good shelf-life characteristics. It is equally effective for fresh market sales and industrial processing where uniform texture and size are prioritized.
• Agronomic efficiency: Developed by the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Growing, the variety features a balanced growth habit. The canopy structure simplifies maintenance and allows for optimized plant density, increasing total yield per hectare.

For the field manager, this translates to predictable management cycles. Whether you are aiming for short-term sales or mid-term storage, the variety demonstrates reliability and ease of handling, making it a robust asset in any crop rotation plan.
