Yellow Marmalade is an early carrot variety with a maturation period of 80 to 98 days. The root has a conical shape with a pointed tip, measuring 15 to 18 cm in length and weighing 120 to 180 g. The carrot pulp is oily, bright yellow, sweet, and crunchy, making this variety particularly attractive for culinary use.
This variety is characterized by good storability and retains its taste qualities during storage. Yellow Marmalade is recommended for preparing carrot salads, juices, as well as for making pancakes and rolls, thanks to its sweet and rich taste. Sowing seeds is done in open ground at the end of April - beginning of May at a depth of about 1 cm with inter-row spacing of 15 cm. After seedlings appear, they are thinned out, leaving a distance of 5-7 cm between plants. The optimal soil temperature for seed germination is 22-25 °C.
Thus, the Yellow Marmalade variety combines early maturation, attractive appearance, and high taste qualities. It is suitable for both fresh consumption and processing, making it a universal choice for gardeners and healthy eating enthusiasts.
