Nerak F1

Nerac F1 carrot is a late, high-yielding hybrid of the Nantes type, developed by Bejo Zaden from the Netherlands. The vegetation period is approximately 130-135 days, allowing for a stable yield of 4-6 kg per square meter. The roots are cylindrical with a blunt tip, up to 18-19 cm long and 3-4 cm in diameter, weighing 100-200 grams. Their rich orange color indicates high carotene content (about 13.5-13.7 mg), and the flesh has a sweet taste with sugar content up to 7.6% and dry matter content of about 12.2%. The Nerac F1 hybrid is adaptable to growing conditions and agronomic practices, successfully cultivated throughout Ukraine, both on ridges and rows. Regular watering and application of mineral fertilizers rich in potassium and phosphorus are required for optimal growth. The carrot is resistant to diseases such as alternaria, false powdery mildew, powdery mildew, and cercospora, significantly reducing the risk of crop loss and simplifying crop care. This hybrid is versatile in use: roots are suitable for fresh market sales, packaging, washing, freezing, canning, processing into juices and purées, and culinary applications. Due to good storability and resistance to mechanical harvesting, Nerac F1 carrot can be stored for several months while retaining its flavor and nutritional qualities.
