Carrot Creampak

Practical Application of the Krimpak Carrot

Its primary focus lies in processing and long-term storage, making it a strategic asset for large-scale vegetable producers aiming for high output and market flexibility.

Field Performance and Agrotechnics

Krimpak performs exceptionally well under plastic mulch or row covers, facilitating early-season development. This management practice ensures uniform, cylindrical roots with a vibrant orange color—a requirement for industrial processing, where consistency directly correlates to higher profitability. Furthermore, the hybrid’s high resistance to Alternaria leaf blight mitigates significant production risks during damp seasons, ensuring the foliage remains healthy and photosynthetic until the final harvest.

Key Benefits for Growers:

• Industrial Processing: The perfect cylindrical shape minimizes waste during peeling and automated cutting processes.
• Storage Efficiency: Renowned for its excellent shelf life, allowing producers to hold stock through winter to capitalize on better market prices.
• Reliability: Strong genetic resistance ensures a high-quality, marketable crop even when crop rotation or environmental conditions are less than ideal.

Choosing Krimpak means investing in a predictable, high-yielding crop that is optimized for mechanical harvesting, washing, and packaging, maintaining top-tier quality from the field to the end consumer.
