NANTSKAYA SEMKO

Nantskaya Semko — a mid-early carrot hybrid with a maturation period of 90-100 days, intended for spring and winter sowing. Plants form uniform seedlings, the aerial part is tall and semi-spreading. Roots have a bright orange color both outside and inside, cylindrical in shape with a slight taper at the base. Root length reaches 11-18 cm, weight varies from 90 to 150 grams, providing nearly ideal sizes for table use. After technical maturity, the root head may acquire a purple or greenish tint.

This variety is characterized by high yield — from 6 to 9 kg per square meter, as well as resistance to bolting and leafiness, making it a reliable choice for cultivation. Carrots possess high table qualities, sweet taste, and absence of internal cavities. Thanks to excellent storability, roots can be stored for up to 5-6 months, allowing their use for both fresh market and long-term storage.

Nantskaya Semko is rich in vitamins K, PP, C, B1, B2, and also contains essential oils, phosphorus, calcium salts, iron, and iodine, making it nutritious and healthy.
